With Tixi taxi vouchers, you are still mobile and actively participate in life.
You can obtain Tixi taxi vouchers from Pro Infirmis Lucerne, Obwalden and Nidwalden. These are financed by the Canton of Lucerne and the municipalities. These travel vouchers are valid at around 30 different Tixi and taxi companies. Authorization is required to receive the receipts.
- Permanent mobility impairment
- Residence under civil law in the canton of Lucerne
- Helplessness allowance from disability insurance (DI), SUVA or the military
AHV pensioners do not belong to the group of beneficiaries. Exception: You received a helplessness allowance before you retired.
Tixi taxi vouchers are intended for leisure trips (shopping, meeting friends, etc.). For trips to schools, workshops or for therapy, there are usually other cost carriers (e.g. IV, health insurance, SUVA). If you have any questions about the financing of these trips, we will be happy to help.
You will receive the Tixi taxi vouchers twice a year. The vouchers are non-transferable and remain valid for one year. Each entitled person receives the same number of travel vouchers - regardless of the type / degree of disability, needs or financial situation.
